99CentGigs ("we," "us," "the platform") is a classifieds marketplace where users pay 99¢ per day to post a listing — for paid work, a volunteer or internship opportunity, a service, or an item for sale. By using this site, you agree to the terms below.
99CentGigs is available to users located in the United States only. You must be at least 18 years old to post a listing or create an account.
We do not conduct background checks, inspect items, confirm job offers, or investigate posters or responders. It is your responsibility to exercise judgment and take reasonable precautions — meeting in safe public places, verifying payment before shipping goods, and researching anyone you plan to work with or for.
Exceptions to this policy, if any, are granted solely at 99CentGigs' discretion on a case-by-case basis. If an exception is granted, 99CentGigs will issue a discount code redeemable for one free listing at checkout, in place of a cash refund. Discount codes are issued only by 99CentGigs directly, are for single use, and cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as PayPal or our e-commerce processor). Your payment information is collected and processed by those providers under their own terms and privacy policies — 99CentGigs does not store your full payment card details.
You may not use 99CentGigs to post listings involving, promoting, or facilitating:
We reserve the right to remove any listing and suspend any account at our discretion, with or without notice.
You are solely responsible for the content of any listing you post and for any transaction, agreement, or interaction you enter into with another user. 99CentGigs is not a party to any transaction between users and has no control over the conduct of any user, on or off the platform.
We may suspend or terminate your access to 99CentGigs at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable. You may stop using 99CentGigs at any time. Fees already paid are not refunded upon suspension or termination (see Section 4).
If you believe a listing is fraudulent, unsafe, or violates these terms, please report it through the Support page. We review reports but cannot guarantee any particular outcome or response time.
You retain ownership of the content (text, photos, videos) you post on 99CentGigs. By posting content, you grant 99CentGigs a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service. The 99CentGigs name, logo, and site design are the property of 99CentGigs and may not be used without permission.
99CentGigs is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any listing is genuine, accurate, or safe.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 99CentGigs and its owners are not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from your use of the platform, any listing, or any interaction with another user — including but not limited to financial loss, property damage, personal injury, or fraud.
You agree to indemnify and hold 99CentGigs and its owners harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the platform, your listings, or your violation of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Your State], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of 99CentGigs will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that state.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and 99CentGigs regarding your use of the platform.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of 99CentGigs after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
